Navaratri Thamboolam Blouse Set — Nine Colours
All measurements in inches. Bust and waist are full round (circumference). Half an inch to one inch variation is possible. If between sizes, choose the larger size. The letters in the drawings match the table columns. Easiest way to measure: lay a top or skirt that fits well flat on a table; for B, C and E measure straight across and double it.

Skirt (pavadai)
Sizes 0–6 M to 10Y come as a body pavadai (skirt with attached camisole). From 11Y the skirt is a belt pavadai (waistband).

FBody pavadai length: top of the camisole (shoulder) to hem. Sizes 0–6 M to 10Y come with the camisole attached to the skirt.
GBelt pavadai length: waist to hem. Sizes 11Y to 16Y have a waistband.

Nine unstitched blouse pieces, one in each Navaratri 2026 colour. Each golu visitor takes home the colour of the day with the thamboolam.
- Light cotton: open weave, the traditional thamboolam piece.
- Thick cotton: close weave, firm enough to stitch into a blouse. This is the one in the photos.
Sets of 9, 18, 27, 45 or 90 pieces, 1 metre each, packed in a box or cover bag with a colour-and-day card.
Colour may run. Wash each piece separately in cold water the first time.

Colour & Fabric
- Colours can look slightly different on phone and computer screens. Not sure of the shade? Ask us on WhatsApp before you order.
- Fabric: cotton.
- Small slubs (thicker threads) in woven cotton are part of the weave, not a defect.
Wash & Care
- Wash separately in cold water for the first few washes — rich colours can bleed.
- Hand wash is best. After that, a gentle machine wash with similar colours is fine.
- Dry in the shade. Iron on medium for a crisp finish.
- No tumble dryer.
- Store folded in a soft cotton cloth, away from damp and sunlight — not in plastic.
